Creative Juices @ The Substation

Verdict: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 (reviewed Saturday 26 October).

Creative Juices is an exciting interactive show created and performed by award winning performance artist Timothy Christopher Ryan. With evangelical energy they’ll high five you to hold a pen in your hand and paper in the other, and create the most original masterpieces based on a hilarious set of prompts.

Audience participation is a must, but after some initial hesitation (aren’t we a shy bunch?!) the audience are literally running down the stairs to join in a huge dance party, while those of us left behind are still happily drawing away.

The concept moves away from traditional Paint and Sip sessions where everyone paints the same picture; Timothy blends comedy, queer humour and effective motivational coaching to get you out of your comfort zone.

Highly recommended for art lovers and art novices and anyone who wants to reconnect with their inner child.

Creative Juices played at The Substation in Sydney between 24 – 26 October. For upcoming shows around Australia go to https://www.scratcharts.com/
